Transit Routes
The City's transit system consists of the following bus routes and commuter shuttle:
- 100 Veterans Park – Commerce Center
- 200 Commerce Center – Cal State LA
- 300 Veterans Park – Civic Center
- 400 Bandini Park – Commerce Center
- 500 Neighborhood Parks - Libraries - Connection Points
- 600 Civic Center - Citadel Outlets - Downtown LA
- 700 Commerce Center - Transit Center - Veterans Park
Transit routes will not operate on the following City-recognized holidays
November 28, 2024 – Thanksgiving Day
December 25, 2024 – Christmas Day
Jan. 1, 2025 – New Years Day
July 4, 2025 – Independence Day
September 1, 2025 – Labor Day
October 13, 2025 – Staff Training Day

Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA): Reasonable Modification Request
Please contact the City of Commerce Transit to request a modification in the department’s policies and practices applicable to its transportation services. (1) Individuals requesting modifications shall describe what they need in order to use the service. (2) Individuals requesting modifications are not required to use the term ‘reasonable modification’ when making a request. (3) Whenever feasible, requests for modifications shall be made and determined in advance, before the Transportation Department is expected to provide the modified service, for example, during the para-transit eligibility process, through customer service inquiries, or through the entity’s complaint process.
The City has provided a form for prompt and equitable resolution of complaints alleging any action that would be prohibited by the Americans with Disabilities Act. Complaints of alleged noncompliance should be sent in writing to Claude McFerguson, Director of Transportation, 5555 Jillson St., Commerce, CA 90040.
DBE Overall Goal and Methodology
Notice is hereby given, that the City of Commerce - Transportation Department (CTD), has established a Proposed Overall Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Goal of 7%, for Federal Fiscal Years 2025-2027. The DBE Goal is applicable to U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT)/Federal Transit Administration (FTA) assisted contracting opportunities scheduled to be awarded during the period of October 1, 2024, through September 30, 2027. CTD's Proposed Overall DBE Goal and its rationale (developed in response to U.S. DOT's Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program Regulations published under Title 49 CFR Part 26) are available for inspection at the following link: DBE Overall Goal and Methodology.
