Employee of the Quarter Program
In June 2015, the City Council approved an employee recognition program to highlight exemplary performance by City of Commerce staff.
Selection Process
Once a quarter, the Department Heads meet to review all of the nomination submissions. Each nomination is discussed and voted on to determine each nominee’s overall score. One employee is selected for each of the four quarters.
Recognition
The City Council presents the Employee of the Quarter with a certificate at a City Council meeting. Selected employees also receive recognition on the City’s website, newsletter and video boards. The employee’s name is also included in a drawing to occupy the City Council cabin at Camp Commerce during “Employees Weekend.”
