Ride Free, Ride Safe
The City of Commerce takes pride in prioritizing the safety of our customers and employees. We are following precautions from the County of Los Angeles Public Health Department, the Centers for Disease Control, the World Health Organization, and local government agencies to mitigate risks and to reduce exposure to the coronavirus.
Our system has earned the Health & Safety Commitment (HSC) seal. It means we are fulfilling the highest industry commitments for keeping transit safe during COVID-19.
What is CC Transit doing to help stop the spread of COVID-19?
- We strongly recommend face masks for employees and passengers.
- Our team deep cleans the buses each morning before route departure.
- We treat all surfaces on the bus with an electrostatic, antimicrobial protectant.
- We installed MERV-8 air filters with antimicrobial fiber layers in all buses.
- We use air purifiers on board our buses, which remove 99.998% of airborne particles. A full exchange of air occurs every 5 minutes.
- We installed safety barriers for the safety of bus operators and passengers.
- We installed touchless hand sanitizer dispensers on board the bus for riders.
- The CC Transit app will tell you how full your bus is in real-time.
