To confirm which brands or models qualify visit the Energy Star Website or call the Residential Energy Information Center at (888) 431-2226. Before you buy a new appliance, review the application and eligibility criteria. Apply for the rebate by submitting the application online.
Energy Savings Assistance Program
The Energy Savings Assistance Program offers no-cost, energy-saving home improvement services to income-qualified renters and homeowners.
Improvements offered to eligible tenants and homeowners may include: Attic insulation, door weather stripping, caulking, low-flow showerheads, furnace repair or replacement (owner-occupied only), water heater blankets, faucet aerators, minor repairs to exterior doors and/or windows, evaporative cooler vent covers, water heater repair or replacement (owner-occupied only), and clothes washers.Once you submit an interest form or call 1-800-331-7593, you will be referred to a local licensed contractor in your area.

The Southern California Gas Company also offers rebates to owners and property managers of multifamily residences and apartment buildings for a range of energy efficiency improvements that could help lower bills and increase comfort.
This program offers rebates on qualifying controllers and dual set point controllers for natural gas water heaters/boilers, central system natural gas boilers, central system natural gas storage water heaters, central system natural gas tankless water heaters, in-dwelling natural gas storage water heaters, in-dwelling natural gas tankless water heaters, pool heaters, central natural gas furnaces, natural gas gravity wall furnaces, and smart thermostats.
