New! Live Homework Help® has been expanded to cover Kindergarten to adult students, and math and science homework help in Spanish is now available from 3:00 to 10:00 p.m. every day. Children and adults – students of all ages - can receive free Live Homework Help with English, math, science and social studies homework from any Internet-connected computer, anywhere. To use the service, students need a Commerce library card. Online homework help in English and Spanish is available from 3:00 to 10:00 p.m. every day except major holidays.

Library Cards
All residents in the state of California qualify for a City of Commerce Library card under the Universal Borrower Program. Library cards are issued free of charge. The replacement fee for a lost, damaged or stolen card is $2.00. Adults are required to present identification and proof of current address. The signature and identification of a parent is required on the application of a child under the age of 18.

Reading opens up new worlds and provides quality time for children and parents to bond. Reading Room Tips provides expert advice to parents on how to create a special reading space in their homes that is comfortable and supportive of a love of reading.
