Freeway lanes and on/off-ramps will be closed during the evening for construction.

I-710 project closures Monday, May 14 through Friday, May 18:

Northbound I-710 (7 p.m. to 6 a.m.)

  • Up to three lanes from Atlantic Blvd. to Washington Blvd. will be closed
  • Atlantic Blvd./Bandini Blvd. and Washington Blvd. off-ramps
  • Atlantic Blvd. on-ramp

Southbound I-710 (7 p.m. to 6 a.m.)

  • Up to three lanes from Washington Blvd. to Atlantic Blvd.
  • Atlantic Blvd./Bandini Blvd. off-ramp
  • Washington Blvd. on-ramp

Some closures may start and end later. All closures are weather permitting and subject to change.

The work on I-710 is part of a $150.7 million pavement rehabilitation and bridge widening project that stretches 3.7 miles from Bell to East Los Angeles. The project is scheduled to be completed in summer 2021. Flatiron Construction is the contractor.

California drivers will see more work to road resurfacing and bridge improvements on freeways as a result of SB 1, the state’s new transportation funding.
